Luxembourg - the Bronze aggrandisement

18th-20th September 2020

This trip is primarily aimed at those wanting to upgrade their Bronze rocker to Silver as part of C&Fs Precious Metal Rockers^© program

The number of participates will be limited, therefore, for those that have already achieved Silver & above we are going to keep a list until we have an idea how many Bronze members, wish to participate, then open up the ride to others that have expressed an interest†

The proposed itinerary for the trip

Friday 18th September:
Early start, meeting at the Eurotunnel terminal
Ride to the hotel for a two night stay in Luxembourg City. Arrive late afternoon. Approx. 300 miles
We have negotiated a discounted rate with a 5 star hotel of €140 per night, inc. breakfast, single occupancy (Rack rate €670)
In the evening, there will be a group dinner (7:30ish) in the hotel. Please see example menu as a costing guide. Drinks will be extra.

Saturday 19th September:
After breakfast, our ride will head into the beautiful Luxembourg, German & French countryside with a stop for lunch. Approx. 150-200 miles round trip
In the evening, there will be a group dinner in the City (7:30ish). As we are based near the centre of town, there should be plenty of attractions for those who’d like a walkabout & night cap after dinner

Sunday 20th September:
With a prompt start, we will head towards Calais with a possible excursion on route depending on time & hunger. Approx. 280 miles

Important information & Chapter requirements for a C&F and Meridian H.O.G. overseas trips:

• Rider to hold a C&F or Meridian Chapter membership card and be a member of H.O.G. with a current H.O.G. membership card. This is a requirement to participate in ALL Chapter ride outs
• Pillion passengers must hold a minimum of current H.O.G. associate membership and hold a C&F or Meridian Chapter membership card.
• Have completed a C&F Event Release Form and handed it to the Ride Leader before departure.
• It is also important to familiarise yourself with the ‘Buddy System’ style of riding as well as the general etiquette of riding overseas with C&F H.O.G..
